How do you choose the flowers for the seasonal bouquets and can I select my own?


It is not possible to select which flowers you want because we make fresh unique bouquet and these arrangements will vary each week depending on what flowers are available and in season from the growers.  We use a mix of different gorgeous flowers and often include native flowers and foliage.  The colour schemes will vary week to week as well.    We keep waste to a minimum too which helps to keep our costs down.

 

How will I know what my bouquet will look like?

 

You won’t know because you are ordering in advance, but it will be full of gorgeousness and make someones day!  You will get a different but beautiful bouquet every time you order.  However if you want more reassurance, you can log onto our social media pages to see previous bouquets we have sent out.  Very occasionally we may have to substitute flowers due to supply. In this instance your bouquet will be slightly different to the bouquet shown on our website and social media accounts.

 

What size posy can I order and how much will it cost?

 

We have three sizes of seasonal bouquet available to order starting from $75.00.  We also have an option to arrange a custom order.  All come with delivery to suburbs listed below. Suburbs local to our Roseville studio are from $12 for delivery. When you place an order The Posy Room will charge your credit or debit card the payment amount immediately upon your order via PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account.

 

What days do you operate?

 

We are a same day delivery service delivering on Wednesday - Saturday (except for public holidays and public holiday long weekends).  If you miss the cut off, we can organise delivery for the next business day that we operate on.  We advise you give as much notice as possible for special orders and events if you have specific requirements.  We can arrange workshops and service wedding/events Monday – Sunday.

 

How do I take care of my bouquet once it arrives?

 

Attached to every flower bouquet is a flower care card with instructions on looking after your bouquet.  With proper care such as changing the water daily, trimming the stems a couple of cm every other day and removing flowers which have wilted or faded, your bouquet should live one week or longer!

Where do you deliver and is there a delivery fee? Delivery starts from $12.00.

We deliver to the Lower and Upper North Shore including the following suburbs;

 

Artarmon, Chatswood, Castle Cove, Crows Nest, Frenchs Forest, Gordon, Killara, Killarney Heights, Lindfield, Mosman, Neutral Bay, North Sydney, Pymble, Roseville, St Ives, Turrumurra, Wahroonga, Waverton, Willoughby, Wollstonecraft and surrounding suburbs.


A request for deliveries outside of the North Shore may be able to be arranged and quoted for separately.  We are happy to organise this if  possible.  Pick up is always an option as well.  At this stage Sarah does most deliveries by herself with an occasional courier.

 

What times do you deliver bouquets?

 

We deliver in the afternoon depending on our delivery route and how mant orders we have (except public holidays and over Christmas and New Year). We do not give delivery time slots.  Home deliveries are generally between noon-6.30pm.  Schools by 2pm.  Offices and shops by 5pm. Pick up from our Roseville home studio is welcome if you need a bouquet earlier in the day.

 

What if the person I am sending a bouquet to isn’t there to accept the delivery?

 

We recommend choosing a delivery day and location when you know someone will be able to accept the delivery. If nobody is available to accept the delivery, at your request when the option is given at ordering stage, the bouquet will be left in a covered and shaded area if possible.  The Posy Room take no responsibility for an order which is damaged or goes missing as a result of this request.

It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct delivery address.  If an incorrect address is given, we can organise a re delivery for the next business day for a new delivery fee.  If we are delivering to a place of work and the recipient isn’t there, we will leave the bouquet at reception or with a colleague

 

Can I give a message for the recipient?

 

A short message can be included and entered via our ordering page.  Please sign off with your name if you wish your recipient to know who the bouquet is from.  

 

Cancellations

 

We do no accept cancellations but can give a credit note which is to be used within 90 days.
